Even if your child is presently an intermediate reader, many tour guides like to begin with Reading Expedition 1 and review all of the basics, to make sure all of the sequential concepts are mastered, until the reader arrives at his or her appropriate skill level. As you open each new Reading Expedition, print it out. Every Reading Expedition is a total of six pages and contains the Funsheets, board games and tips you will need for that particular lesson. It’s so easy to use! Look for the little Backpack icon. The backpack lists each and every component you will need for your safari adventure. The Jungle Journal section will itemize every small step along the way. Just check off those items on the Jungle Journal as they are mastered and, when every item is checked, place a star on the Safari Success Trail. Be sure to celebrate your reader’s excellence – and then proceed to the next Expedition in the system. It’s all there, organized for you in a step-by-step format – SO easy to access and use!
